Owners & Directors Gail Mountain, Debbie Hollett, and Gordon Truscott possess many years of experience in their chosen field, having worked together successfully in the late 80's and early 90's in natural products distribution prior to their Indigo partnership. Gail Mountain - Owner, Key Account Manager- Whole foods, supervalu, Vancouver area accounts Gail started her career in natural products brokerage in 1993 - Gail Mountain Marketing - after 4 years in sales with a Vancouver distributor. Gail's entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm distinguish her as a leader in her field, and an inspiration to her customers. Primary duties: Key account management, production of the Indigo Ink newsletter. |

Debbie Hollett - Owner, Brand Manager, Office Manager, Human Resources Debbie joined Gail Mountain Marketing in late 1994 and Indigo Marketing was born. Debbie worked in women's health, bakery production, and sales management at a major natural food distributor prior to her Indigo days. Her business experience, leadership ability and organizational skills are integral to the company's success. Primary duties: brand management, financial and staff / office management. |

Gordon Truscott - Owner, Brand Manager, Account Manager for Costco Western Canada Gordon came to the company in 1996 after 13 years in distribution with the last 7 as general manager, and 2 years as a trade consultant and a broker in natural foods. His broad range of experience strongly contributes to the ongoing success of his brands. Primary duties: brand management, business analyst, Costco. |

Janette Bishop - Account Manager, Vancouver island Natural Foods Accounts Janette has been with Indigo since January 2009. Her career includes working as an early childhood educator for 10 years where she worked with children from infancy to teens. She then spent 10 years at Thrifty Foods, the majority of that time in the grocery department including managing bulk foods and end displays. Janette's favourite pastimes are walking her dogs, working in the garden or hiking with her kids and husband. She also enjoys baking, cooking, scuba diving and is learning to play golf. Janette says her sales job at Indigo is the perfect fit for her. She has always had a passion for natural and organic foods. She gets to interact daily with great people and particularly enjoys the continual experience of learning something new every day. |

Louisa Clarke - Distributor Liaison Louisa has been with Indigo since March 2007. Her favourite pastimes include anything creative. She especially enjoys working at Indigo because of the people and work environment. |

Monica Contois - Account Manager, Choices Markets, Stongs, Vancouver area accounts Monica has been with Indigo since March 2004, when she moved over to the natural food side of the industry. She previously worked in the vitamin and health food industry for 15 yrs. She enjoys listening to music, reading, beach combing, yoga, power walking, mountain biking, and spending time with family and friends. She says "Indigo Natural Products is a company with integrity and balance; they are wonderful people that make work enjoyable." |

Carol Daponte - Account Manager, Overwaitea Food Group, Safeway, Sobey's West, Federated Co-op Carol has been with Indigo since March 2004. She has experienced a wide variety of responsibilities over 15 years in the natural food category while working at the Overwaitea Food Group and Tree of Life Gourmet Award Distributors. Carol enjoys many different outdoor activities, as she loves to be in nature. She also enjoys yoga and other fun types of wellness activities. She is very fond of live music, comedy and socializing with friends. She appreciates and respects the people that she works with. She also loves food so she says Indigo is a great fit! |

Paula Garcia - Assistant to sales team, Accounts Receivable, Trade Show Manager Paula has been with Indigo since July 2006. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Paula settled in Vancouver in 2003. She has a Degree in Economics from the University of Santa Maria with post graduate studies at IESA Business School, in Caracas. Paula has over 13 years of corporate banking experience as an Account Manager. Since moving to Vancouver she graduated from BCIT's Business Management Studies for International Students Academic Program. Her hobbies include travelling, languages and yoga. She is looking forward to playing tennis again and enjoys reading finance and investment books and business magazines. Paula enjoys being an integral part of the Indigo team and interacting with everyone in the natural products industry. |

Maggie Jones - Account Manager, Nature's Fare, B.C. Interior, Manitoba, Northwest Territories and Yukon Maggie has been with Indigo since September 1998. Maggie has worked in the natural foods industry for over 37 years and considers it to be as much of a passion as a career path. She has worked in a variety of jobs within the industry and began her journey as the baker and salad maker at Etherea Natural Foods in Rochdale College in the early 70's. She has been a vegetarian since she was 16 years old. Maggie is a committed foodie who loves to garden, cook, read cookbooks, seed save, bee keep and her favourite past time is learning and engaging in anything that has to do with a natural and sustainable life. She lives off the electrical grid in the interior of BC. The things that she loves most about her job is that no two days are the same and that she gets to work in an ethical and meaningful industry with truly amazing people. |

Ingrid Moerman - Assistant to Brand Managers, GS1 Liaison Ingrid has been with Indigo since January 2003. She has worked in childcare, geriatrics, drama in education, non-profit arts organizations, corporate food industry and organic farming. Her favourite pastimes are early morning fitness, reading, deep sleeps and food appreciation. What she likes the most about working at Indigo are the people and the food. Ingrid has a passion for bees and is a Mason Bee steward for the city of Vancouver. |

Zayda Mondaca-Fuentes - Account Manager, Community Natural Foods, Planet Organic markets, Alberta/Saskatchewan Zayda has been with Indigo since June 2009. Zayda approaches all aspects of her life with the same joy and enthusiasm, and her career history reflects this. She has spent 20 years in the natural health industry and although she started in the vitamin sector, like all good foodies she eventually found her way to the natural foods sector. She has spent many years in management and undertook her first position in this roll at the age of 28. Zayda is an avid reader but she also loves to be very active enjoying gardening, running, yoga, dancing of every variety including Latin folk dancing. Working at Indigo gives her access to the information that helps her and her family live a healthy and sustainable life. She loves working with such an incredible group that makes up Indigo; real and passionate people full of integrity. She also enjoys her colleagues, from distributor reps and buyers to retail store managers and floor staff, knowing that everyone has something to teach her. |

Sophie Riddehough - Brand Manager, Account Manager, London drugs, Mountain Equipment Coop, Special Projects Sophie has been with Indigo since Feb 2002. She comes to us with many years of sales and marketing experience. She has worked at the distributor, manufacturer and importer level. Over all she has been in the natural foods industry for close to 20 years. She enjoys outdoor activities including gardening, hiking, kayaking and soccer. |

Diane Saywell - Account Manager, Thrifty Foods, Vancouver Island Grocery Accounts Diane has been with Indigo since September 1999. She has 20 years of experience in the organic and natural foods Industry. She has a diverse background having worked in warehouse operations and sales at distributor level. Diane has had great success in her sales position on Vancouver Island having sold to key mainstream grocery accounts as well as smaller independent and natural food stores. Diane's favourite pastimes are hiking and paddling in and around Vancouver Island. What she likes most about working at Indigo is the diversity of her job. |

Katie Stemmler - Account Manager, IGA (B.C), BuyLow/Nesters, Vancouver Area Accounts Katie has been with Indigo since July 2009. She most recently came from Sun Opta West where she was a Key Account Manager. She also worked at Culinary Capers Catering as Operations/On-site Chef, Head Cook at Celtic Reforestation and Manager at Oso Negro Micro-Roastery in Nelson, BC. Her favourite pastimes are cooking, dinner parties, thrift store shopping, travelling and camping. What she likes most about her job at Indigo is the creative, inspirational environment, the people she gets to work with, and selling organic & sustainable food into the mainstream grocery channels and beyond! |
